John's Updates

I wanted to give everyone a quick update. I’m still recovering and feeling well. I had my first meeting with my oncologist, Dr. Haughton on Wednesday.

This is John checking in a little over a week after surgery. It’s been great to be back home, especially with all the amazing support from the Acadia community.

This morning’s surgery went well. John’s doing great! Alert, moving well, sitting up, and cracking jokes. He’s settled into his room in the Neuro ICU at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC.

Dear Friends, Caleb & I have some hard news to share about our sweet son John. He has a brain tumor located in his left parietal lobe. John will be undergoing awake brain surgery this Wednesday, July 10 at 7:30am to remove as much of the tumor as is safely possible…
